Father God, I thank You that millions of people around the world will hear Your Word being preached today. I pray that those who speak will be bold and courageous as they preach the good news. And I pray that those who listen will discover that You have great ‘plans to give them hope and a future’ (Jeremiah 29:11).

Jesus, I pray especially for those who are finding life painful or difficult right now. Draw near to them and give them strength to hold onto hope. Remind them today that You are faithful (Hebrews 10:23).

And Holy Spirit, fill the Church today. Help her to be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer (Romans 12:12).
