Here’s a prayer from this morning’s Lectio 365 devotional:

“Lord, I acknowledge that ‘[my] heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?’ (Jer. 17:9) Please show me if there is any division or prejudice in my heart towards people who are unlike me culturally, politically or even theologically. Give me a generous and gracious spirit that believes the best and forgives the worst, for the sake of Your Son who died to make us one. Amen.”
